The Guys from Silicon Valley Take on Dark Souls 3

When it comes to video games, plenty of fans love a good challenge, really earning that sense of accomplishments when the end credits of a single player campaign roll through. But then there’s the self-punishing experience that is the “Dark Souls” franchise. Spanning 3 titles, a hipster prequel with “Demon Souls” and the PS4 spinoff, “Bloodborne”, the Dark Souls franchise has earned the crown as the go-to game when you’re looking for a change-up from the insultingly easy Triple A titles of present day.

To celebrate the release of Dark Souls 3, Bandai Namco (the studio behind the franchise) brought in Kumail Nanjiani and TJ Miller from Silicon Valley to give their own commentary on how tough the game is. We won’t give too much away, but let’s just say that majority of the video is them hilariously trying to get past the first boss. Check out their gut-busting engagement below!
