The First Nike Supreme Collab Project Has Blown Up the Sneaker World
The world over knows that Nike has been at the top of the shoe game for decades, and in recent memory, one of the few clothing lines that have come somewhat close to extremely massive appeal and demand is the streetwear clothing brand, Supreme. So when there were rumors of these two great forces in modern style were going to come together for a very special shoe collaboration, both sneaker and streetwear culture collectively lost their shit.
Yesterday, Nike and Supreme released the “Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 Collection”. Featured in white, black, blue, and red, the collaboration certainly takes a nod to both a retro, yet minimal look. Releasing just last night, the demand and hunt for these coveted shoes have already been extremely hot. Starting retail price at $175, none of the four in the collection seem easy to scoop at the moment, but the white’s seem to be in the highest demand, with its accents being a subtle but bold snake-skin-looking material. Make sure to keep an eye out for them online and avoid those scummy counterfeit dealers. Happy shoe hunting, fam.
