Nike Goes Denim

Quick, somebody call NSYNC and the out-of-business guys who made Tomagachies, because the 90’s are about to make a huge comeback. How do we know we’re about to warp back to dial-up internet and nostalgic Saturday morning cartoons, you ask? Because Nike is dropping a new pack of crowd favorites redone in denim, an idea that would’ve been perfect for Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake at the VMA Awards in 2001. Coming this Friday, May 13^th, Nike will be rereleasing the Air Presto, Air Max BW, and the Air Max 95 all with denim finishes and gum soles. If you’re looking for a faded denim look, you’d probably want to go with the Air Presto’s, and for darker denim, cop either the Max BW’s or Max 95’s. With us here at Royal Blue being experts in all things denim, we would have to say this is a pretty solid move by Nike, all three shoes in the collection looking enriched by the retouch rather than overdone.
