Wings + Horns X New Balance MT580 Deconstructed Releases This Weekend
Back in 1996, American footwear manufacturer New Balance released the MT580 sneaker, made exclusively for their Japanese market. Fast forward 20 years and the revival looks just as fresh as its predecessor. New Balance has teamed up with Canadian Label Wings + Horns to update the MT580’s and give them a makeover for their 20th anniversary. The “580 Deconstructed” will feature laser cut panels of premium leather, a signature whipstitch heel, cushioned REVlite soles, and includes Neoprene mesh sock liners. The price hasn’t been announced yet, but it will be revealed at 7pm PST tonight at the Wings + Horns X New Balance launch party hosted in their Vancouver showroom. The official release of the sneakers will drop tomorrow online at www.wingsandhorns.com and in-store with limited quantities at 9am PST. The MT580’s will be available in two colorways, Sand and Black. Take a look at the iconic sneaker below and be sure to grab your pair online starting at noon EST this Saturday.
