Star Wars Has Us Drooling this October
If you haven’t been under a rock the past year, you’ve heard about the 7th coming Star Wars film coming out December 18th. And to get everyone immensely hyped, Disney decided to release the official movie poster and final trailer this month to officially make the month of October Mickey’s bitch (and to conveniently get their ticket presales to break the internet). On the gorgeous poster, we see the movie’s main characters in all their glory and a giant mega-structure that definitely isn’t a moon… (new Death Star perhaps?). The trailer is dripping with gorgeous Star Wars mythology featuring, an intense spaceship chase scene involving The Millennium Falcon, clear shots of the very beautiful main protagonist Rey, played by Daisy Ridley (also featured on the center of the poster), and the beginning clash of an intense lightsaber duel between Finn and the story’s main antagonist, Kylo Ren. The hype is here. The hype is real. All we can hope is that director J.J. Abrams can make Star Wars Episode VII live up to it.
