Tiger Wood’s Ex-Caddy Accounts Slavery under Tiger

It’s well known that working with legendary figures at times isn’t too easy. It’s known around the NBA that the legendary Kobe Bryant can be one hell of a diva, its rumored famed director Michael Bay screams at everyone on the set of his movies 24/7, and now we know Tiger Woods can be less than pleasant when he’s out on the course. In his recent memoir titled, “Out on the Rough”, Tiger’s former caddie Steve Williams gave the nitty gritty and not so glamorous details of working with the golfing icon during the time in which he dominated golf and when the infamous sex scandal surfaced. In one part of the book, Williams wrote "One thing that really pissed me off was how he would flippantly toss a club in the general direction of the bag, expecting me to go over and pick it up.”

And in case you were wondering, Woods is a spitter. Williams stated "I felt uneasy about bending down to pick up his discarded club — it was like I was his slave. The other thing that disgusted me was his habit of spitting at the hole if he missed a putt. Tiger listened to what I had to say, the air was cleared and we got on with it – his goal was to be the best player in history and my goal was to keep working as best I could to help make that happen." When the sex scandal began to hit major airwaves, Williams began being harassed on all fronts, somehow becoming Tiger’s groupie accomplice through mere association. What happened when Williams asked Tiger’s team to clear his name with a public statement? A tardy rejection! Williams stated, "I repeatedly asked for Tiger's management to release a statement that would clear me of any involvement in this lurid news. They simply wouldn't do it because there were others in his group who knew exactly what was going on, and management felt they couldn't single out one person as innocent.” Well it seems sometimes the world’s GOATs can have pretty jackass personalities.
