Nike Gives Us a Tease of Their Game Changer
We’re seeing an interesting time in the world of sneakers. Nike and Adidas are putting out hot material like never before, and rappers are getting just as many shoe deals as the athletes these days. With every big announcement from any of the major sneaker brands, avid collectors and casuals alike are amped and prepared to get their hands on the next pair of head-turning kicks. Yesterday, Nike teased their next sneaker that’ll surely be one of their most unique releases in recent memory. On their Nike Lab Instagram, via a GIF of a zipper going up and down, the shoe giant showed us their new collaboration with ACRONYM Apparel, the Nike X ACRONYM Air Presto Mid. Nike Lab as a project is dedicated to forward-thinking designs that have the potential to be the future of fashion over the next few years. The new Air Presto Mids are certainly that, featuring built in, ankle-high socks with zippers on their side. The initial release will come in three different looks, two being darker shades of green and grey, with the third being a bit brighter and bolder. Make sure to keep an eye out for a release date in the coming weeks!
