The Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Collaboration Gets a Retouch

If you keep your ear to the ground when it comes to sneaker culture, you may remember Compton rapper, Kendrick Lamar officially teaming up with Reebok earlier this year for his first official shoe release. This was a massive effort by Reebok in hopes of reviving a brand that has recently been losing tons of ground to fellow competitors, Adidas and Nike. Lamar took his Reebok collab opportunity to make a tasteful, casualwear shoe that spoke on the unnecessary gang violence in LA, titled the “Red and Blue” collection. Considering the shoes were one of the most popular releases Reebok has had in a while, they’ve decided to revamp the Red & Blue’s for the month of November.

The new and final revamp of Red and Blue looks to change the base of the shoe itself. The pair will now be done over completely in durable olive-colored leather, while still maintaining subtle accents of red and blue on each shoe. The Red & Blue’s are then finished off with a gum sole that matches the leather of the sneaker. How are you liking this revamp of Kendrick’s first pair of kicks? If you’re feeling Reebok’s vibe on this one, make sure to grab a pair when they release on November 25th!
